8. Behold Your Queen!

Behold your Queen is a wonderful book by Gladys Malvern. To tell you how much I love this book I bought it on ebay for an amount of money I generally do not spend on a book. It is a treasured member of my collection of novels.

This is a sweetly written story about Ester and more in line with what I picture when I read the bible than One Night with a King , which is to not say the former book does not have its merits, because it does. I just happen to love this sweet story and how it portrays Ester from the beginning as a faithful Jewess that already has a strength of testimony. Her love for the king is evident as is his love for her. This is an easy tale to read and a young preteen could handle it easily. If you can find it in your library it is very worth the time and effort to check it out. If you love the story of Ester, this is a must.
